Dr. Georgiou has been a clinician most of his life and is the Director of the Da Vinci Holistic Health Centre in Larnaca, Cyprus which specializes in many aspects of Holistic Medicine such as naturopathy, herbal medicine, thermography, colon hydrotherapy, iridology/sclerology, homeopathy, VEGA allergy testing, Bio-resonance therapy, Live Blood Analysis, Biological Terrain Analysis, Rife technology, PAPIMI, Hyperthermia, Infrared and ozone sauna, MRT, HRV, ART, Orgone Accumulator, Psychotherapy and Naturopathic Sexology.

He has lectured to Masters students in Psychology at an external campus for Indiana University, USA, and has been a prolific writer of health articles for the general public. He has written 3 books and had his own radio program for 2 years entitled Human Sexuality on the island of Cyprus, and is the Editor for the chapter on Cyprus in the International Encyclopedia of Sexuality, Volume 4.

Wearing other hats, he has also been an Aviation Consultant/Human Factors (Aeronautical Medicine) and Crew Resource Management Program Developer and Facilitator Trainer (Crew safety) for a number of years to Cyprus Airways and EuroCypria Airlines, given that he is also a keen Private Pilot himself.

He is also the Diplomatic Cultural Attache for the Sovereign Medical Order of the Knights of Hope, one of the oldest medical charities in the world deriving from the Knights Hospitallers, helping the poor and needy using holistic medicine in his home country of Cyprus.

Regarding his career in Clinical Sexology, he was the first professional sexologist to ever work in Cyprus, making history in this respect. This was back in 1983 when sexology was unheard of in this sexually repressed country.

His doctoral dissertation in Clinical Sexology was entitled The Sexual Attitudes of Greek Orthodox Priests – a unique study never before studied in the Orthodox religion. There was considerable antagonism from certain spheres of the Orthodox Greek church regarding the results of the study.

In 1990 he had his own live radio programme on Saturday lunchtime entitled Human Sexuality. This was far ahead of its time and in a two-year period Dr Georgiou managed to cover 96 topics of human sexuality with the audience asking questions reflecting the ignorance, taboos and prejudices of the time. This was the first such programme in the history of Cyprus.

In 1999 he published the first book ever written in the Greek language on the treatment of Premature Ejaculation, published in Greece. 

He is also the Editor for the chapter on Cyprus in the International Encyclopedia of Sexuality, Volume 4.

As Dr Georgiou has two doctorates, one in Clinical Sexology and one in Alternative Medicine, he has formulated protocols for the treatment of sexual dysfunctions that involve the integration of both these disciplines.
