At the Da Vinci Holistic Health Centre we place a lot of emphasis on investigating various forms of allergies as these conditions can clearly create a lot of inflammatory chemicals to be secreted in the body which can be underlying causes for various conditions.

We have found over the years a couple of testing methods to be highly accurate when used by experienced practitioners who have had extensive training. One is the VEGA Allergy Testing and the other is Autonomic Response Testing.

We have not found blood testing for food intolerances to be very accurate as patient symptoms still remain after the elimination of foods indicated by the blood tests. VEGA testing is far more effective in this regard as has been shown by studies as there is usually a rapid improvement of symptoms after elimination of the foods identified by VEGA testing - it is also far more cost-effective.

Other tests used is the Hydrogen Monitor for determining lactose intolerance as well as intolerance to a number of other sugars.

Dr. Georgiou is a qualified VEGA Tester and has been using this technology to test for allergies for over 15 years now. He has also been trained in Autonomic Response Testing by Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt, one of the pioneers of this diagnostic modality, as well as by others.
